The ASUS VivoWatch HC-A01 is technically a fitness tracking device fitted inside an elegant watch. I was really impressed by its sophisticated look. The curved stainless steel body of the watch just sits on my wrist comfortably. It features a clear, vibrant screen with Gorilla Glass 3 over it. The watch itself has IP67 rating so it’s safe to take it for a swim or shower. The LED display has a smart way of telling you every time you receive alerts.
All the settings, funcationalities and features of the Asus Vivowatch can be accessed by swiping the touch screen. Since this is a fitness tracking device at heart, the watch does a good job in monitoring your daily activities. It even has a heart rate monitor which can accurately track your heart beat all the time. Although it has some amazing features that most of its rivals lacks, the Vivowatch is still limited. It does count how much distance you’ve covered which I think is a must have feature for a fitness tracker. I like how the sleep monitoring works but the watch just pales in comparison with other activity tracker watch.
The watch also has no smart functions that we usually see from other modern watches. You can’t receive email notifications, text messages and etc. although you can still receive incoming calls with it. On the bright side, the Asus Vivowatch packs a good battery that lasts for about 10 days with moderate use. Battery life

I like the Asus Vivowatch more for its elegant design but less on its performance. Although it has sleep and heart rate monitoring, it still is a basic fitness tracking watch. The lack of third party apps and app notifications will disappoint most people. I would love to have it at least receive notifications and text messages but that is not the case here. But that’s just me. Otherwise, if you are looking for an affordable stylish fitness tracking watch, you mustn’t miss the Asus Vivowatch.
