The history of the Michele Watch brand began in 1940 with Maurice Barouh, a watchmaker with a strong belief in refinement and quality. Maurice ultimately passed the baton to his son Jack, who, just like his father, had a keen eye for detail.
The creation of the Michele Watch brand came when Jack’s first child, Michele, was born. The brand focused on children’s watches at first, but later on showed interest in building watches for a wider market. Today, Michele is a part of the Fossil, a renowned watch group that also makes watches for Emporio Armani, Michael Kors, and DKNY. It was in 2004 that Jack made the decision of partnering with this prestigious watch company in order to give Michele Watches an even stronger position in the international watch industry.
