Founded in 1883 by Gottlieb Hauser, Alpina Watches International SA is a creator of luxury watches based in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Switzerland. One of the company’s visions, which is referred to as the ‘Alpinist Principle’, was to unite the watchmaking industry forces in Switzerland in order to realize the highest quality and technical revolution in watch manufacturing. Until today, Alpina is known for always seeking ways to improve and change how things are done.
For over 130 years, Alpina has been operating based on this principle and vision, and today, the ideals upon which the company was built are still flourishing, continually inspiring the creation of professional sports timepieces to the most excellent standards of time measurement.
