The Marathon Watch brand originated as Weinsturm Watch, which was established in 1904. Later to be renamed as Wein Brothers, the company is a supplier to the Allied forces. It was in 1984 that Wein Brothers partnered with the Gallet Company to produce rugged watches for the US Government. The dials of the watches were marked with the name “Marathon”, a trademark that was previously held by Gallet. Wein Brothers continues to design and manufacture timepieces and related products under the Marathon brand for military use to the present day. The watches they produce combine excellent Swiss craftsmanship and military durability. This is to guarantee the highest level of accuracy and quality for all their timepieces.
