Ariste Calame started his company in 1882. He named the company after himself, but would later on rename it to “Zodiac.” Calame’s company carried the name for years, but it was only in 1908 that Zodiac was registered. When Ariste Calame passed away, it was his son Louis Ariste Calame who took over the business.
Today, the Zodiac watch brand operates as a part of Fossil Inc., with a collection of watches that can be considered as bold, adventurous, and passionate in style and design. Just as what the Zodiac watches have been since 1882, Zodiac timepieces of today are designed and built to the strictest of standards and incorporate flawless Swiss craftsmanship with an unerring devotion to detail.
