PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
- Band- Croco-embossed leather band at 22 mm width, and men’s standard length with a buckle for closure.
- Case– It has a stainless steel case with 43 mm diameter and 13 mm thickness with a mineral crystal dial window.
- Dial– Features a contrasting chronograph sub-dial, a date window at 4 o’clock and semi-covered hour indicators.
- Movement– Japanese quartz movement with analog display.
- Water Resistant– Water resistance of 100 m or 330 Feet.
PROS
- With the 100 m or 330 feet water resistance, it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, however, not for scuba diving.
- It is solid, giving it an adventurous touch to the timepiece.
- Eco-drive, therefore, there is no need to replace the battery.
- It is very affordable given that is looks and feels expensive. It draws attention however it is not flashy.
- It has a perpetual calendar feature.
CONS
- As it has a leather band, I would not recommend to wear it for swimming or snorkeling although it has a water resistance of 100 m.
- The band is slightly stiff and needs time to be broken in before comfort sets in.
- It is slightly heavy and bulky which may be inconvenient when wearing a suit.
Personal Opinions:
Citizen BL5470-06A Eco-Drive Watch looks and feels sturdy and long-lasting. It is solid, giving it an adventurous touch and expensive look to it although it is in the very affordable range especially it is eco-driven. With so many pros, are there reasons to say no to it? Yes, the downside would be that the leather band is rigid and needs time to set and it is bulky for those who wears suits on a daily basis.
