Review Summary:

This great Fossil Women’s watch is a great addition to your watch collection. The white resin case and bracelet makes the watch stand out quite literally, and the crystal around the face of the watch makes it even more feminine. This is, indeed, a watch that combines functionality and design.

Advantages:

  • Made of Japanese Quartz movement, this watch is something you won’t be throwing away to the attic soon. It’s a watch that will last you long, even after you’ve brutalized it.
  • It looks like a delicate watch, but it’s really a tough chick watch.  Why, you ask? Even through all the crystals around it, it’s a watch that’s made of scratch-resistant mineral. Now that’s something you don’t see very often with watches in this price range.
  • The watch is also water-resistant up to 165 feet or 50 meters. Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to worry about losing your watch at the beach or at the swimming pool? I know it has happened to the best of us—taking off the watch because it’s not water-resistant, and then taking a dip only to come back to your things with a watch missing. Now, say goodbye to your problem because you can just keep your watch on.
  • The face of the watch is white, which makes a great contrast with the black and silver writing on the face of the watch. It makes time telling easier and hassle free.
  • What makes it even better is that the watch is oversized! Its two inches of glorious sophistication, making it a choice for those people who don’t want to just wear watches, but who also want to wear watches that make a great fashion statement.

Disadvantages:

  • Okay, the worst part about this watch is the crystals of the watch. It may be made of scratch proof mineral, but that doesn’t mean that the crystals surrounding the watch will not fall off. If you’re not careful enough, the crystals may come off soon.
  • The white resin case may look like cheap plastic. It’s a lightweight material that compensates for the face of the watch which is on the heavy side, because it’s, well, duh, oversized.
  • While the sub dials are helpful, to me, it just makes the watch look complicated. Personally, I would rather have a date box than three analog sub dials to look at in addition to the main dial. However, the three dials make the watch look a little more classy and sportier.
  • Best to keep this watch on than leave it lying around because it’s not shock-proof. Even if it was, the design would not make shock proofing work because there are crystals around this watch. to me, the deal breaker really is the crystals because it makes the watch less functional than its features make it.

This great Fossil Women’s watch is a great addition to your watch collection. The white resin case and bracelet makes the watch stand out quite literally, and the crystal around the face of the watch makes it even more feminine. This is, indeed, a watch that combines functionality and design.
