Make no mistake that theGarmin Forerunner 630 is a great example of a true GPS running watch is, add in a couple of basic smart functionality and you now have a watch not just limited for your running activities. This is a watch that is made specifically for runners.
True to its name the Garmin Forerunner 630 is a true running watch and I’m actually fine with it since I do a lot of runs every week. So if running is not your activity choice or if you are just an occasional runner, I wouldn’t suggest this watch and just be better off with a more simplistic running watch.
The Forerunner 630 is capable of capturing every detail of performance data and it does all the while being synced to the heart rate monitor. This is a watch that you can’t afford to miss if you are a serious runner. Its features are just too good for running activities and you can definitely make out the best of them. Interestingly, the features of the watch will become even more useful when you sync it with the heart rate monitor.
There is also an activity-tracking feature as an added bonus. You can store your lifestyle into it if you want to keep track of your sleep and the number of hours you’re inactive. This will then allow the watch to remind you get on the move and get going. I’m telling you it’s a really nice feature to have especially if you just sit all day in your desk at the office for how many hours. The watch can give hourly reminders and will tell you to move around a bit and to not just sit all day. The sleep tracking is also nice feature to have especially if there comes a time that you are not getting enough sleep.
