Interview with Jeroen Vrinzen, Founder of Vescari Watches

How did you get started with Vescari Watches?

Vescari started a long time ago as a dream that could come true one day in the future. The last couple of years I had worked at several luxury brands including a Swiss watch brand the last 2,5 years and last summer I’ve made the choice to go for it and make this dream come true.

Where do you get the idea to create this brand. What inspires you when it comes to design?

Watches have always been a passion for me. But the step to make it from a hobby to creating my own watch brand was a step I had to take.

Next to my passion for watches, I’ve always had a passion for the finer things in life. Luxury clothes, cars,food. I get inspired by products or things that are timeless and have overall feel of quality.

That’s also why I’ve chosen for a timeless design and high quality for the Heritage Chronograph collection.

Let’s talk about your various market. Which countries and/or cities do you think will be your biggest market for this launch

We will be launching our brand on Kickstarter, the advantage is that it’s a worldwide platform. So the awareness and potential backers/buyers are people from all over the world.

After hopefully a succesfull campaign we will sell our watches through our own website. After the launch of our own webshop, we will expand to retailers in the Netherlands, Europe and eventually worldwide.

Do you plan to create more watches in the future, or will this be more of a one-time, one-design idea?

We would like to make a brand with different collections, so we’re already designing and planning our second collection. For our first collection we’ve chosen for this classic design. For our second collection we would like to produce a watch in a racing theme.

Is there anything you’d like to highlight to the Gracious Watch readers related to your current model?

We would like to present our Heritage Chronograph collection that will be launched in the next days. They will have a retailprice of 229,- euro.

But we will start our campaign with a pledge of only 99,- euro (limited pieces) So do you want to be a pionier and own one of the first Heritage Chronographs support us on Kickstarter.

Where will the watches be available after the launch?

We will launch our watches after the Kickstarter campaign on our own website for a retail price of 229,- euro www.vescari.com

What are your goals for Vescari Timepieces in the next 5 years?

Within 5 years we would like to have 2 or 3 different collections of Vescari Watches. Furthermore we would like to have dealers in Europa, Asia and America.

What do you personally look for in a timepiece?

I’m a fan of chronographs with a timeless design and size.

Is there anything else you’d like to add to this interview?

I would like to add our specifications for all to see, how our watches are build and the quality them.
