Stockholm is a haven place for fashion lovers and travelers or adventure seekers. This archipelago is known for its scenic view that covers some 24,000 islands, each with its distinguished and remarkable beauty. For Magnus Dovenstam and Andreas Johansson, Sweden’s capital city is not just a place for travel, but a true inspiration for their masterpiece- the Belos Watch.
With their fascination on the amazing phenomenon of timekeeping, founders Dovenstam and Johansson want to keep track of the same through the distinct appeal and performance of a self-winding automatic clockworks. The birth of Belos Watch in the watch industry was also inspired by the breathtaking and picturesque Stockholm archipelago, which was made more magnificent with its natural beauty and attractions or activities.
In 2011, the founders of Belos Watch went to the island of Utö, which lies just outside of Stockholm. On that same trip, Dovenstam showed Johansson his watch. While it was a good-looking watch, they knew it was missing something, which was a smooth sliding second hand only able with an automatic movement. After years of brainstorming and sketching, here comes the first Belos collection- Belos Utö.
The Belos Utö Watch comes in three designs- black dial and rose gold, white dial and steel, and white dial and rose gold. Each piece is designed to complement the personality and sense of fashion of every person. Expect that every detail of the Belos Watch has been carefully designed to give you the ultimate timepiece you deserve. Moreover, the exquisite watchmaking of self-winding automatic clockworks perfectly exhibits the balance between engineering and style. No batteries needed, only the motion of the wrist. The wet conditions in Stockholm have inspired the Belos Watch Company to use genuine Italian calf leather that can withstand rain and splash.
The Belos Watch combines Swedish design and technical perfection. If you desire to have at least one, now you can by showing your support in Belos’ Kickstarter campaign.
