Introducing The Sandfox

Wearable tech just got interesting.

Heck, the world of watchmaking just got interesting. Just when we all thought Apple and Google were the front runners for smart watches that combine tech with every bit of cool, here comes a new contender to steal the thunder of every smartwatch in the game.

Enter Sandfox, a smartwatch that merges the best of elegance with the best of tech. Sure Apple and Hermes met in the middle for the Hermes Apple Watch. But this is something, dare we say, more elegantly tech than that iteration of Hermes or Apple product.

Sandfox breathes life with Artificial Intelligence aptly named Sylvia. Her voice responds to voice commands. And as the designers at Mike Vision Tech assert, she will study these commands to become more and more “human” through such exposure.

Here’s the interesting thing about that though. As she/AI evolves through interaction with the wearer of the watch, do we continue to refer to the Sandfox as a watch…or an entity?

Semantics questions aside, the Sandfox is robustly chic. It comes kitted out with a titanium case. Couple that with a sleek black leather band. The Dial is as one would expect a living computer.

Here your display morphs between GPS, wifi, and a full Android operating system. Aesthetically, the face is very much the sort of fantasy one would expect out of an Arthur C. Clarke novel or a Kubrick film.

But lo and behold science fiction is now science fact.

But those bells and whistles are only the tip of the iceberg. The Sandfox is also a phone, boasts two cameras for Skype and Facebook, and can project power point presentations. What doesn’t this phone do? James Bond and the creatives at Omega must be somewhere chomping at the bit at news of this super watch.

The Consumer Electronics Show 2017 in Las Vegas will be something of a debutant’s ball for Sandbox and its lovely AI personality Sylvia. And someone in attendance (or absentia) will be lucky enough to walk away with a free Sandfox on their wrist.
