Advantages:
- Don’t be scared of how white this watch is—trust me it’s actually the highlight of this watch. It features an injected silicon strap that well, is not a worry when it comes to cleaning. Most people would be worried to buy a silicon strap because it’s dirt prone, but that’s misleading. The injected silicon strap is actually not high maintenance.
- Pretty cool that you can fool every one about being high maintenance right? What with Swarovski crystals surrounding the inner circle of the watch, you’re not only going to have to look at the time, but admire the watch as well. I like how Juicy Couture placed the Swarovski crystals inside where it’s protected. If you’re like me who’s a fan of women’s watches with crystal detailing, and have experienced losing a few because of use, then this watch is for you. the crystals will never fall off because it’s inside.
- What better way to make a “rich girl” stand out than oversize the watch? This watch is made of an oversized round case, which also functions to make time-telling easy.
- The numbers are roman numerals, which add an elegant touch to an otherwise preppy watch. the numbers are also big so you won’t have to squint down ridiculously on an oversized watch.
- Have I mentioned that’s it’s also water resistant up to 99 feet? Pretty neat right? When I told you that this watch can fool everyone about how high maintenance it is, I wasn’t kidding.
Disadvantages:
- Silicon straps are still my nightmare, even though they assure you that it’s made of high quality material. If you live near the tropics or if your place receives a high amount of harsh sunlight, you watch may get damaged. I am still scared about the silicon peeling off through extreme temperature exposure.
- Most people who also bought this watch will say that they can also wear it with their office attire, but I can’t seem to fit the two right. The watch for me is more on the sporty side, and pairing it with my crisp button down shirt for office still won’t work.
- The seconds hand has a very subtle heart detail that I really can’t seem to love. The watch is all white and elegant, that the tiny heart at the end of the seconds hand used as a pointer is like a needle in a haystack…that’s quite disturbing.
