This is an automatic watch. The watch can not be hand wrapped by manual winding which means you need to shake it to start it, and then it winds itself as you move your arm throughout the day. The timekeeping is considerably less accurate compared to a quartz timepiece, and regarding the movement the producer states that you should be prepared to lose up to to 25 seconds fast or slow each day.

The face of the watch is mineral crystal. The watch has a water resistant of up to 200 meters, and features two screw down crowns . The bezel is steel, and turns quite easily; it is scalloped, not coin-edged. The watch mainspring beats six times per second (21 ,600 bph), and the second hand has 6 distinct stops between each marked second on the face. This slow magnificent sweep is much more sophisticated than the one per second movement of a quartz analog. The back of the watch is an excellent screw-down design, boosting durability but without exhibiting the movement inside as “exhibtion” casebacks would.

Personal Opinion

In my opinion if you like dive watches, then the Orient CEM65001B. might be something you want to consider. I personally like a stainless steel bracelet on a dive watch as compared to NATO or Rubber strap. I also love that this watch has a day and date display at 3 o’clock and the red-arrow second hand looks extremely striking to me.
