When it comes to sports watches and investing in a really good one, you should know exactly where you would be wearing them and what activities you might do. This is to make sure that you're able to choose the right one for the purpose at hand. After all, you wouldn't want to wreck an expensive watch, right? Think about the price as well. It wouldn't come cheap so it is best to go for quality and something that is worth your money. Luckily, Tissot would be able to provide you with exactly that.

Tissot, as you may or may not know, is one of the foremost watch making companies in the world. In fact, they have pioneered a number of different designs that are still in use even today. This is the company that was first when it came to mass producing pocket watches as well as offering the first pocket watch with two time zones. In 1853, they became the first to come out with anti-magnetic designs. It might not seem like a lot in today’s current technological scene but back then, it was certainly big news. Everything about the company seems pioneering and as such, if you’re looking for a watch that you would be able to take everywhere with you then their models should be among your choices.

Shall we take a closer look at the features of this particular model?

This models comes with a black PVD stainless steel case as well as a black rubber strap. It’s dial is painted black with luminous index hour markers and hands. Arabic numerals mark the 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions. A Tachymeter scale marks its outer rims. The dial type is analog and you would be able to find a date display at the 3 o’clock position. This is something that’s quite common with many of Tissot’s timepieces. The backing is solid and it is water resistant at 100 meters or 330 feet.

Pros:

  • Leading an active lifestyle also means not having enough time to sit down and change the batteries on your watch. Luckily, this isn’t something that you would need to do when it comes to this model. Powered by automatic movement, all you need to do is keep on wearing it in order for it to continuously work.
  • Durable. Of course, since it is something that you will be wearing outdoors and in conditions that most common watches would probably freeze at, it helps that this model is also quite durable and would be able to withstand all of that.

Cons:

  • The only real drawback here is the price. It isn’t the most affordable of watches and could be considered a luxury in itself. But if you do invest in it, the money you pay would be well worth it.
