But first, a brief look into the company’s history. Tissot was the first to mass produce pocket watches so that even average people may carry them around to check the time. Now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about the watch itself
It comes with a stainless steel case and sturdy black rubber strap. It’s been fixed with a black PVD bezel and comes with a black dial that features luminous index hours and hands. As always, Arabic numerals marks the 6 and 12 o’clock positions. Tachymeter and minute markers surround it’s rim, the dial type is analog. The date display is magnified at the 3 o’clock position. Chronograph which means it has three sub-dials which display 6 hours, 30 minutes and 60 seconds. Automatic movement, scratch resistant, solid back case and its water resistant at 100 meters or 330 feet.
Pros:
- Wristwatches that are powered by automatic movement will never require any form of battery change. All you need to do for it to continuously work is to wear it all of the time. Should you need to take it off, the energy reserves could last for up to 38 hours— but this depends on the model as well. Nonetheless, it still saves you a lot of trouble.
- Durable and would be able to withstand the environments in which they are used. For people who are always the go, this is also a great watch to consider. After all, you just wear it and you’re all set.
Cons:
- The most common drawback for these types of watches would be the price. However, Tissot does offer very reasonable prices for their timepieces. These are investments that are worth the money you’ll be paying, there’s no question about that.
