Review Summary:

Looking for a reliable and sophisticated timepiece? Then look no further than Tissot. It was this company that pioneered the mass-produced pocket watch along with the first model that features two time zones. This was back in 1853. Then, in 1929 to the 1930's, they also released the first anti-magnetic watch made available for the masses. Needless to say, the company has had quite the history when it comes to designing as well as developing some top of the line timepieces for the public. Where better to get your first piece of designer watch than from a company with a brilliant story to back up all of its models, right?

But of course, it isn’t just the company history or the brand name that you should be looking at when it comes to purchasing watches. There are a lot of considerations that must be factored into your decision especially since none of these pieces come cheap. They will cost you quite a bit of money and as such, you would want to make sure that your investment is well worth it. Tissot offers its clientele a slew of choices when it comes to watch models and as such, you’re sure to find one that would best fit your needs. With that said, let’s talk about the features of this particular model:

Much like other models, this one also comes with a stainless steel case along with a brown leather strap and a fixed bezel. It has a silver dial as well as silver tone index hour markers and hands. Arabic numerals mark both of the 6 and 12 o’clock positions and minute markers surround its outer rim. The dial type is analog and a date display can be found at the 3 o’clock position. It has Quartz movement and is scratch resistant. Unlike other models, however, this comes with a solid backing.

Pros:

  • Wristwatches that are powered by automatic movement can continue working for up to 38 hours even after you take it off your wrist. This is because it can conserve energy. This can vary from model to the other, however, so make sure you read up on the specifics.
  • Batteries? You don’t need them anymore. As mentioned above, the watch itself its automatic and what this means is that you simply need to wear it constantly in order to power it. So if you’re used to constantly getting new batteries for your watches, with this model, you can simply forget about that.

Cons:

  • Some of the watches from this line can be quite pricy and not every person would be able to afford them. However, that makes the models quite exclusive as well. So if you’re looking for uniqueness then this might not even be a con for you.
  • There’s also some models that are less accurate, in terms of time, when compared to quartz powered models. This is just a minor drawback, however, and doesn’t really affect the quality of the timepiece itself. So it isn’t really something that’s worrying.

Looking for a reliable and sophisticated timepiece? Then look no further than Tissot.
