The TomTom Spark 3 is an excellent GPS fitness tracking watch that’s perfect for users who want to get a good start in running, swimming, cycling, and regular exercises. It may not be the most complete GPS watch out there since it still lacks a couple of intricate metrics that are offered by its rivals, but with its affordable price tag, the Spark 3 stands as an attractive choice for everyone.
It’s almost impossible to find another watch that has the same features as the TomTom Spark 3 at the same very low price. This watch offers GPS tracking, optical heart rate monitoring, on-board music plus and track-back compass-powered feature at the $200 price range. The watch comes in 4 different variations. The standard model was first priced at $124.21, the second model Music+Headphones which includes a built-in MP3 player was priced at $156.55, the TomTom Spark 3 Cardio which includes an optical heart-rate monitor was priced at $177.43 and the Cardio+Music which includes an MP3 player and an optical HRM was priced $229.61 at launch. Because these prices have changed now since the release of Spark 3, models are subject to amazing price deals.
The Spark 3 sits comfortably on my wrist. I really have no major issues with the watch during my testing. In fact, I find its size perfect for daily usage as it also provides activity tracking. The only downside to this watch is that it doesn’t come with smart notifications. The watch pretty much puts an emphasis on your exercise activities.
What amazes me about the Spark 3 is the amount of features that it packs inside its small watch body all for an affordable price. The watch allows you to fully focus on your exercise since you can’t connect it to a smartphone. This freedom is something that most people look for in a fitness watch especially when they go out for exercise.
The GPS and optical heart rate monitoring built inside the watch works very well. I find this really impressive especially if you consider the affordability of this watch.
