So the most important woman in your life is across from you: her radiant smile is beaming across that beautiful face, she’s looking at you dumbfounded because you got her nothing.
“Nothing? What’s happening?”
Then you realize something. It’s cold, everyone’s at your dinner table, and you hear “All I Want For Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey.
Oh… No. It’s Christmas. Well, good thing you found this article! Gracious Watch is always here to save the day and here are some selections that we have for either your mother, your aunt, or your better half.
Four Watches Under $500
Crystal: Scratch resistant mineral
Water resistance: 30m
First, we have a clean example from Skagen. The Gitte is a simple white face with a rose gold case and bracelet. Skagen is proud to show their Danish design, which is all about simplicity and clean lines.
At 38mm, it would be a great accessory for a night out on the town, or a business casual outfit.
Movement: Japanese-quartz movement
Water resistance: Splash resistant
A second example is from Japanese manufacturer Citizen. Featuring Eco-Drive technology, which powers the watch through light, this rose-gold example with a black face is a powerful number compared to the Skagen example.
At 30mm, it’s smaller but wit with contrasting jewel hour markers, it’s a more formal example of a great women’s watch.
Crystal: Scratch-resistant mineral
Water resistance: 30m
Off to the opposite side of the spectrum is this fine example from kate spade new york. At 34mm, this one is a slightly bigger example, and the watch definitely stands out from the crowd.
Kate Spade designs very outlandish watches, and on her collection, this is one of our favorites with a big piñata hanging around with confetti all over the white face.
It’s fun, stylish, and outgoing. You’re definitely the fun one wearing this example.
Water resistance: 99ft
If you’re not too crazy like the Kate Spade piece but find the first two a little too plain, you might enjoy this piece from Bulova. Featuring a clean, adaptable stainless-steel case and bracelet, it’s understated and not as limiting as rose gold. The multi-colored face is the statement part of this example though, with silver contrasts to complement the whole experience.
This would go well with casual Fridays or even a power suit. The world is your oyster!
